Abstract / Intisari :
Abstract Operations based company MTO (Make to Order) has a very dynamic and varied. Application of this model generally is a small industry with lack of capital, thus requiring precision in the management and planning to avoid losses. each product type set-up costs and the cost savings that are different from one another, while the order of execution order and the quantity of production for each type of product per period will affect the total inventory cost (TIC). This research will develop the software of computer-based decision support system for the regulation of the production schedule, so as to improve cost efficiency production. Analysis model that is applied on the terms of a multi items by using dynamic programming method. This study resulted in a scheduling system that can make savings in total cost of production. The test results with the black box and alpha test method indicates that feasible system used and can be recommended to minimize the total inventory cost (TIC).
